Our client, a prestigious bank is looking for a Head of Operations & Market Risk to join their expanding team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate who reports to the General Manager of Group Risk, has to manage portfolio credit risk, market risk and operational risk of the bank.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor, update and manage the Business Continuity Plan on an ongoing basis.
• Assess and establish internal controls with regard to processes, products and services introduced by the bank.
• Establish systems and procedures to monitor risks and generate periodic reports to inform management of risk profile.
• Implement systems of exception reporting to capture instances of potential non-compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage analysis of operational risk data and implement corrective action as required, setting appropriate limits and procedures to mitigate risks.
