Our client, a prestigious Middle East based bank is looking for a Compliance and Legal Officer to join their expanding team in Bahrain.
Responsibilities:
• Assess risk across the business areas and product lines.
• Deal with day-to-day compliance approvals and queries.
• Maintain the archive of Central Bank regulations and related laws.
• Check and review major policies and procedures to identify any non-compliance with Central Bank regulations.
• Liaise with Central Bank inspectors and the various bank's divisions, discuss findings and follow up corrections.
• Analyze and interpret local regulations to advice the different areas/divisions of the bank and its subsidiaries.
