1. Ensuring solutions design and delivery is in line with enterprise level architecture design and standards. This includes application roadmaps, technical tools and detailed designs coordinated with a global architecture and solution teams.
2. Plan and coordinate a delivery strategy for the implementation of multiple applications and platform migrations involving one or more supplier partners. Working closely with the suppliers to ensure that all delivery teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver products effectively with realistic estimates for timelines.
3. Track and report the status of development of various delivery teams, assigning work to the appropriate work streams and suppliers while ensuring that deliverable scope is adequately defined and quality of deliverables is achieved in accordance with the project milestones.
4. Support an overall delivery programme with the identification, assessment and mitigation of IT risks - specifically secure development requirements, network and data security.
5. Responsible for the leadership of the IT Application Delivery team and associated functions including business analysis, Domain areas (related to business Intelligence Wholesale, Retail, ERP, Customer Intelligence Collaboration), design, development, testing, and project delivery.
6. Creation of a team-oriented, problem-solving culture focused on delivering quality software solutions that facilitate business success.
7. Develop, foster, and evangelize new enterprise solution and application delivery methodologies and strategies that are aligned with overall business goals.
8. Ensures, through regular monitoring and measurement, that the service IT provides to internal and external customers are effective, efficient, and highly valued by the business.
9. Establishes goals and performance objectives that align with the goals of the business. Monitors, measures, and reports results. Holds direct reports accountable for achieving the goals and meeting performance objectives.
10. Manages vendor/supplier contracts for staffing, quality, budget management, cost control and accountability.
11. Align business owners and IT resources to achieve implementation of quality business applications.
12. Develop and implement a software development process that is focused on providing opportunities to the business, is transparent and highly effective
13. Prioritize and allocate resources to various and dynamic initiatives.
14. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on goals and tactics.
15. Lead the overall delivery of projects including the direct management of project team members
16. Project/Work request implemented on time, within budget and meets the business expectations.
17. Innovative solutions that meet the Bank's strategy.
18. Must maintain current and highest level of technical skill in the field of expertise.
19. Maintain high standards of professionalism & appearance at all times.
20. Adhere to the banks established procedures, policies and guidelines.
21. Pursue any other related activities as directed by superiors.
